After 9 years at Tesla, the time has come for me to move on to the next chapter of my life.
If I had to sum up my journey in one word, it would be: gratitude.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked alongside so many talented people and to have accomplished so much together. When I first joined, Tesla felt so chaotic that my instinct was to run back to where I came from — I gave myself three months. After three months, I extended it to a year. Somewhere along the way, I began to understand that the chaos wasn’t something to fix—it was the engine of innovation. Structure brings efficiency, but chaos is where breakthroughs are born.
Nine years later, I’ve had the privilege of contributing across the FSD & Dojo silicon team, radars and other sensors, ADAS systems, and most recently, robotics. It’s been deeply rewarding to be part of the journey where we grew from a company selling fewer than 50K cars to one approaching 10M—and now redefining FSD and robotics.
There are so many memories, but a few stand out:
Tesla has always been about being pushed far beyond your comfort zone. We took on incredibly hard challenges, with the belief: “How hard can it really be? We will figure it out.” It wasn’t always pleasant in the moment—but looking back, those were the experiences that helped us grow. We learned that we’re capable of far more than we think.
Tesla didn’t just teach me how to build systems—it taught me how to think, how to endure, and how to believe that seemingly impossible problems can be solved. I leave with a deep sense of gratitude—for the people, the challenges, and the growth. These have been the most defining years of my career so far.
What’s next: • Taking a much-needed break to spend time with family and focus on fitness • A period of personal growth—reading, building, and tinkering with AI projects • Thinking deeply about my next chapter, likely in AI systems and/or Physical AI
Thank you, Tesla, for the challenge, the growth, and the memories. It’s been an incredible ride.
